Rik and I took the kids to Disney World for 4 days. We had a great time !!! Hayley was able to ride all the rides and she did ! We met the princesses and alot of other characters !!

1st day: Went to Animal Kingdom... rode Mount Everest first ... We all loved it !!! Left when the park closed to check into the hotel. We stayed at Shades of Green which is a military resort on Disney. It was sooo nice !!!

2nd Day: went to Magic Kingdom -- we got to be in the parade !! ( we were the cheerleaders - even Rik and the boys !!) We also won a lanyard with 2 pins. ( Pin trading is really big .. and of course, me and the kids are hooked !!!) We stayed for the fireworks, which were incredible !! As we were leaving the park after the fireworks it started to POUR DOWN !!! We got back to the hotel at about 11pm ... and I think we were all asleep before we hit the pillows !!

3rd Day: went to Epcot -- after opps, sleeping in a little. We went to and had a great time ... even when I almost of squished in the monorail door... the kids were laughing at me !!! We went around the world in about 8 hours :)Soarin is the most awesome ride .. as well as Test track !!! We left a little early from the park cause we had to check out of the hotel the next morning and we were all a little tired !

4th Day: We went to MGM studios -- we checked out of the hotel and drove to MGM, got there for the opening and made our lunch reservations. We got alot of autographs from characters and Hayley got to see the High School Musical pep rally ! We rode Rockin Roller Coaster .. me and Hayley got up front seats !!! She was soo excited ! I kinda thought she may be a little scared ... but HECK no ! She was hollaring with JOY the whole ride !!! We ate lunch at the Sci Fi Drive In, which was a blast ! We had to leave early from the park to head back to the Magic Kingdom to get the mouse ear hats with names put on them :)

Tomorrow we go to DISNEY ~ yippeee !!! I can't wait to get some time away, of course, with the move it seems silly going on vacation for 4 days, but it will be a nice break.

We had a Cinco de Mayo party and had a great time ! There were, as always, more kids and adults :)

Well, my boss would not approve my vacation for tomorrow, so I can to an agreement that I would work for a few hours tomorrow morning, so I can get my stuff done for the day. I should be out of there about 7 or 8am ! Time enough to get to Disney and go to a park before checking into the hotel.

Never second guess yourself

So, I went to the library today to check out some books and pick up a
book that I had on hold. I decided, being that I am 3 classes from my
Associate Degree, I should figure out what I want to be when I grow up
:) so I picked up a couple of career books. Well, as I am reading the

I changed from that degree to business awhile back ... LOL maybe I am

Oh Easter Bunny ! Why soo much candy ??

Well, the kids got way too much candy ! We have been playing board games and cards most of the morning. I put the ham in the oven and am making the deviled eggs for dinner tonight. We are having some friends over for Easter Dinner tonight. I wish my hubby was here :(

I am sitting here wait till the coast is clear to hide eggs, the kids are in bed, but not sure they are asleep yet ! We colored eggs tonight and the kids had a blast ! Me and the kids watched Little House on the Prarie ... it is such a good movie !
I am going to fall asleep as I sit here if I don't get to hide the eggs soon, the kids were up being SOO loud last night and I didn't get to sleep until late :(

I am pretty excited about the TV schedule tomorrow night, finally a new episode of Desperate Housewives !!!

It's Raining Eggs !

I got up this morning ,thinking, hey I am going to get out of taking the kids (my 3 + their 2 friends) to the Annual Easter Egg Hunt because it was soooo windy (I checked this morning and we had gusts at 45 mph ! and it was just plain YUK outside ! Well, i call my friend who makes me feel guilty (thanks Dorothy!), so I decided to take the kids. We got there and it started RAINING !(not hard, just sprinkling a bit). So, the kids and I go our seperate directions, to the appropriate age groups... 5...4...3...2...1... GO GO GO ! 10 seconds and it was over ! The hunt statred at 10:00am SHARP, I was in my van at 10:25 .. and that was after chatting with some friends for awhile.. and walking a mile to where I parked ! It was soo miserable and cold and wet ! Hayley had the best time, the boys thought it was a little boring .. LOL The kids got alot of candy (of course!).
I managed to get rid of the 2 kids' friends, so it is just me and my kids and I am sitting in the recliner with the heater on and a blanket over me cause it is COLD. The boys are curled up and playing games, so I think it is going to be a lazy day except for dying eggs and going to get a ham for dinner tomorrow.

Not all kids are alike !
Here it is 9pm on Friday night. Kaleb has one of his friends over, not one of the normal sleepover guests, and he is soo different frrom most of my son's friends. I had to laugh when Kaleb was bugging him to go outside and play and he just wanted to sit and play video games. I also realized that when kids don't have things like computers, video games, tv in their rooms, ect. they seem to want to do that the whole time. This is really an adjustment for him to have such a different kind of friend.

We are MOVING !

Ok, so I sit down to work on my homework for my class.. I check Blackboard and there is an announcement from our teacher that there is a correction on our assignment .... WHAT???? Well, it seems when she wrote the assignment she was using the 1st Edition of our book ....First of all, I didn't have any problems with the assignment .... WELL...... I HAVE THE WRONG BOOK !!! Yikes !!! I had to order the correct one and it won't be shipped until Monday :( I sure hope someone in my class can scan the pages for me !!! I should get my book on Tuesday, thank goodness !
So it is Friday and I should be stress free, but now I am stressing about this darn book ... and I am STILL sick! Tomorrow is the District PineWood Derby for Scouts and I am supposed to be there.... I hope I am feeling better tomorrow !!!

Clutter Clutter everywhere !
Arrgghhh !!! Just when I think I have a hold on clutter it seems to creep up again ! I don't know what to do... Ebay everything, or just have a yard sale !!!!!!! I really need to get rid of all this crap ! The kids need to go thru all their stuff too !
I did get 11 auctions going today on Ebay, so hopefully they will all sell and I can get rid of that stuff. I need CLEAN SWEEP to come here :)

WOO HOO ! my nephew was in the Austin paper ! He saved someone !
